I'm a bit surprised at the lack of Pennsylvanian duo Marian Hill on the site! Their self-described electro/R&B sound with blues and jazz influences is ridiculously cool and infectious, and one of the most unique sounds I've heard in recent memory. In example, listen to their night anthem, "Whisky".
Off their recently released Play EP, "Whisky" was their first track to stir up a buzz around the group, and in a good way. The drum beat/hand clap intro alone will be stuck in your head for weeks. And it only picks up from there.
