As you know, last month we lost Mac Miller (RIP) - an undoubted talent and sadly another young artist we lost too early. Nasko and Mike featured a few tracks as homage to his legacy, so today I thought of doing the same.
I loved Mac's early stuff - Blue Slide Park & Watching Movies with the Sound Off are absolutely great, but eventually I had a falling off with his music. Not sure why. Things, however, changed - his NPR live which aired a few months was absolutely mind-blowing and made me listen to his 2018 album Swimming (an absolute must-hear).
Today's feature is a dope flip of the live "What's The Use?" version featuring Thundercat on bass. US producer & DJ austin marc absolutely nailed it - the groove he's added is a perfect fit to the original!
