UK producer/artist Count Counsellor has launched a new label From Concentrate, showcasing fresh, emerging acts spanning Techno, Garage, Bass, Icelandic Choir recordings, etc.
The label's first release is a six track EP titled 6 fl.oz featuring an eclectic blend of sounds from the likes of LVNA, Lier, Gud Jon, Groove Council and A Nice Afternoon.
We’re delighted to premiere one of our picks from the EP Blue & Green by LVNA.
With its tender and mellow aesthetic, the new single opens with soft guitar picks quickly joined by Lydia Clowes rich voice who guides the track along beautifully against the minimal electronic synth, faint piano chords, and gentle drum pads.
The song shape shifts beautifully around the 3.40 mark with nothing more than solemn piano chords which echo Clowes heartbroken words. Impressive stuff!
