Luna Li pulls in Raveena for “Fantasy,” and the whole thing stays suspended in the air. They sing up top--clean, controlled, not forcing the sparkle they create yet creating it all the same. It's mist and sweet-scented whispers, right up until the song's middle section dives into a breathy near-whisper.

That’s when the ladies sing from their chests a bit more. Their sunlit cooing dips behind some passing clouds and a little smoke seeps into their vowels. It's still soft and still floats, but it feels as though the singers lean in right up to your ear to make sure that you hear this part especially.

Underneath all that airy brilliance, nylon-strung guitars, and plucky harp notes thread through synth waves that fan out wide. Everything’s spread out in the mix, to the point that even the drums knew to tone it down a bit. So, the rimshots click low, the flutes ease in slow, and it all melts together beautifully.

Everything about "Fantasy" is weightless until it’s not--nothing about it slips away unnoticed. It’s a light touch with a sugar center--just enough glide, just enough grip. You play it once, then again, then again, and before you realize it’s a natural feeling part of your surroundings.
