Miami-born, LA-based independent music artist Lo Artiz distinctly combines the worlds of soul, r&b, and hip-hop influences in her signature sound that has garnered attention over the years. Trey Kams and Ashton Sellars' production on "HOLD ON" is a soulful canvas that brings to life Lo Artiz's vulnerable and imaginative songwriting. Her vocals carry a sense of nostalgia to them too as they remind us of soul music of the yesteryears.
"The song was written shortly after I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I had been battling severe depression & an eating disorder & was looking anywhere I could for hope to keep on going. The track is a blend of R&B and Hip Hop layered with daringly honest themes & profound lyrical constructs", says Lo Artiz.
