The jazz and hip-hop scenes in London are blossoming at the moment, and newcomers Living Infinity is the latest act to have caught our attention.
The band comprised of 2 rappers, two singers and five musicians met in London, but hail from various parts of the world, and joined together to create an eclectic collective.
With an air of sophistication, Living Infinity’s sound mixes some of the most elegant elements of hip-hop like tight lyricism; dope beats with beautiful, laid back jazz, funk and blues.
With their aptly titled EP 01 on the horizon, the band has shared "Frustration (Chapter 06)’ a soulful composition filled with earworm melodies, head-nodding hooks, thought-provoking poetry and gentle jazz progression.
"This song ‘Frustration’ explores the opposing forces of hope for the future, nostalgia and the frustration of not being able to achieve one's goals over a prolonged period of time. The video is a bit of a story on how we met. Moving to London from Italy, I (Uniqueness) decided to head out and I and up meeting Owais, who just moved here from Newcastle and the rest of the band at a gig in an underground jazz club. And the rest is history."
We are thrilled to premiere the track, and it’s accompanying video which is also a winner!
