There has always been a hushed r&b influence resting within the sound of Little Dragon. Collaborating with April + VISTA, they have vividly brought this facet of their style to life in their new project titled Slipping Into Color.
This alliance doesn't come as a surprise since the genre-blending D.C. duo April + Vista have toured internationally with Little Dragon before. The sultry "Nowhere Else To Go" serves as one of the brightest moments on the project as Yukimi Nagano vocals are draped around woozy pads, thus accentuating the track's dreamy allure. It's the graceful rendezvous between the bass line and the drums that makes "Nowhere Else To Go" feel so sexy, while the songwriting offers an intimate touch for listeners throughout the track.
