The slow-motion sounds and the lightweight vocals of Brisbane's LEØ are a true discovery. Been looking for such feeling for a while.
Not sure if this is encoded in our genes, but we live in our own eco-systems which somehow reflect our longings; places where echoes will always bounce back and return, regardless how fast that process is. Regardless of our upbringing, interests, views on the world and values, these individual eco-systems co-exist together and we often deal with the same set of complex... what's the word... "quests" life throws at us.
Happiness, grief, self-reevaluation, an ongoing process of re-discovery - the list goes on and on. Just like those "quests" thrown at us by life, we share other commonalities like the warmth generated by the sense of belonging. Regardless, how necessary is to be alone with yourself and your thoughts, that sense of belonging is the natural balance of things. That is why friendship and being able to be there for someone is something which will never have monetary value. The ancient and eternal values of human life - truth, unity, goodness, justice, beauty, and love - are all statements of true belonging; they are the also the secret intention and dream of human longing. Everything else can be healed by time.
Stay strong, friend.
