IFY

There's so much to love about LÉA THE LEOX's new single "IFY", it's really hard to unpack.

Pronounced "lay-uh", the young and extremely talented Boston-via-LA artist is someone I instantly put on my 2025 watchlist. Born to musician parents, LÉA grew up surrounded by music, shaping her captivating aura which allures from the very first chord. Blending sweet melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and progressive production, she skillfully stirs contemporary and classic r&b into a whirl of emotions.

"IFY (I Found You)" captures the electrifying thrill of a first spark on a night out. With vocals to die for, a groovy bassline, and unbeatable energy, I predict nothing, but greatness ahead of Mya. The track is all about "that unforgettable moment when chemistry ignites, and for just one night, the world fades away".

The song is giving me a strong Erykah Badu vibe and ended up spending my Saturday afternoon daydreaming and spacing out while headbopping to "IFY".
