Laxcity continues to blur the lines between EDM and future beats with his new release "landing/homesick" - a track he made about the lonely side of being a touring artist.
If you heard our podcast with Joshua, you'd know that he is quite an introvert. When he made this track, he mentioned that he was feeling alone and awfully homesick even with the pleasures of touring. So in many ways, the making of "landing/homesick" served as a catharsis for Laxcity. For listeners, the track offers a sense of solace too thanks to its emotive chord progression and downcast vocal samples hanging in the backdrop. I can't neglect to mention the bouncy drums he's laid out for us to groove along to while being immersed in the soundscapes.
