It's kinda ridiculous to find an amazing artist and to realize he had a gig close to your place less than 24 hours ago. So, my post of Stumbleine initiated a little discussion and given the fact lately I've been devoting a fair amount of time on that side of the electronic music culture, I felt like discovering something new and appropriate for Sunday... and this is how I crossed path with the soundscapes of Australia-born, Berlin-based producer Jian Kellett Liew AKA Kyson.
Signed with Friends of Friends, his debut full-length LP The Water's Way has been out for just a month, so if you enjoy "She Said To Me Quietly"... yeah, you know what's next. The track sounds really majestic and somehow evokes in my mind the feeling and desire to be somewhere out in the nature. All that comes to no surprise, given the fact that he's finding a lot of inspiration in his travels around the world. If I can judge by his music, I reckon some of the destinations were pretty exotic and distant from the big and polluted cities. Enjoy the track and hopefully, we will be able to arrange an interview or live recording sessions of Jian and his live band next time they play in Berlin.
