Kyson is someone that constantly impresses me. Ever since I discovered the music of the Australian-born, Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist I've been in a state of awe. The way Jian playfully blends genres is impeccable. As I've followed his sonic journey for nearly 6 years now, I have to say - the news of his upcoming self-titled release made me smile. The 12 track album is scheduled for January 2020, but we've already had the pleasure to experience a few songs including today's highlight - "Innocence Arrogance".
As part of the album's release preparation, Kyson and his live band are putting a show at Badehaus Berlin this Thursday (21st of November). It will be a showcase of Jian's new direction and if you have a chance to experience this, you should.
