Kisnou is likely a familiar name to many fans of the future garage/ambient scene. Numerous newer artists can claim to have been initially inspired by Kisnou's works; his releases consistently push boundaries and set him apart from the often monotonous regularity of the genre.
"You Will Not Drown" is perhaps amongst his most emotive pieces, yet it does not allow it's introspectiveness to mar it's musicality and creative flair to any degree. A dynamic piano progression is given the lead for just long enough to convey it's message, before being replaced by an equally potent guitar lead. All the while, soft strings dance in and out of the focus of the listener, as if emboldening the themes carried throughout the piece.
I have not known many people who speak about music with as much passion as Kisnou; whatever direction he decides to take his career in the future, he is sure to excel. For those unfamiliar with his releases thus far, I strongly recommend you acquaint yourself.
