With his soulful yet edgy aesthetic, KiLLOWEN is slowly becoming one of my favorite artists coming from the UK, and his latest track "pick your poison" reinforces that impression.
KiLLOWEN is about to start quite an impressive release run. We covered his romantic January release "cook & effy" where he tastefully samples a jazz-like record. This time, he flips Bell BivDevoe's classic "Poison" into a UKG banger that's bound to heat up the dance floor. The drums are lively, the vocals create an airy atmosphere, and the bass has quite a groovy swing to it. It's the rapping though that breathes life into the track, especially since he opens up about his bad habits with romance and self-control.
