Khruangbin and Leon Bridges: literally nothing can go wrong here. This is not the first time that the two are collaborating: they have previously teamed up for Texas Sun EP and let's admit it, we all needed it back in 2020.
The new release is off their second collaborative EP, Texas Moon due to be released in February. "Chocolate Hills" is a little less groovy than I would normally expect from the two artists, but I was pleasantly surprised by how sensual the track is. Leon Bridges silky smooth voice matched with a very slow groove by Khruangbin makes for a perfect addition to anyone's bedroom jams playlist. Also can we please talk for a second about that bassline?
