None of us was ever supposed to hear something written by Keaton Henson. He was just sitting in his room, being really heartbroken and trying to escape the reality by putting his feelings into music. That is probably the reason why his music is so sincere. You believe it and you go like: "Yeah, I feel you." As BBC is saying (and somehow I tend to trust them and this is the only source of information about Keaton) he is suffering from a stage fright, does not perform that much and his website is saying he doesn't like talking to people. Does not sound like your average artist.
"You Don't Know How Lucky You Are" is the track from his debut album "Dear...". Somebody posted this video and it immediately got me (thumbs up to the actress by the way!), helping me find an interesting person behind the beautiful music and lyrics. As a big lyrics fan I urge everybody to listen to it very carefully. Can it get better and sadder? Don't think so. Strong guitar almost drowns you in his sadness and sorrow and it feels like you can't get enough of it. Keaton is also a very good graphic artist and you can check out his works on his website.
His second album is out and I love it. Give him some love as well.
