Esta's take on "Know What I Want" is pure gold. Which is why you'll be playing this song on an endless loop. He's adds a more electronic and atmospheric touch that blend's well perfectly with her raw and soulful vocals. The original has a more reggae feel to it, though still worth checking out.
A unique voice that sounds like a cross between Amy Winehouse and Lykke Li, Colombian "Virginia-via-Colombia" singer and songwriter Kali Uchis is definitely one to keep an eye on. Her looks clash similarly to Marina & the Diamonds and Iggy Azalea.
After releasing her self-produced mixtape: Drunken Babble last year, she got the attention of the likes from Diplo and Snoop Dogg for her eclectic, hard to classify sound.
Described as genre-defying and was noted for its influences from doo-wop, reggae, and early 2000s R&B. If you want more from Kali Uchis, I highly recommend listening to her album Por Vida - Lottery is a personal favourite off the whole lot.
