Tuesday is zen.
Kicking off with one of my favorite chillhop discoveries last year - Kalaido. His affinity for South East Asia and the region's musical heritage are always vivid in his work and is the thing I appreciate the most about his beats. Playing "Technicolor Midnight" and laying down with my eyes closed is an instant escape from reality.
I want to also highlight another familiar name in our feed - US producer Kennebec who plays the guitar parts on "Technicolor Midnight".
