While you are probably unfamiliar with the name Kaira Widido, there's a good chance you've already heard the Willow Smith & SZA track "9", which was a surprisingly chilled-out r&b song from 2 years ago after Willow made the shift to her ethereal soulful tracks.
Kaira is a young vocalist out of NYC who covered just a small section of the track, but instead of opting for an all-too-common acoustic cover, she laid out her vocals atop one of Las Vegas beat-maker Weirddough's tracks, "Lovebump".
The result is a supremely mellow joint that, despite its short length, easily captivates one's attention and leaves the listener wanting more. Suffice it to say, I would happily ship further collaborations between this pair in the future.
