R&B and soul music are rapidly expanding nowadays and often gets blended with other genres (bass, trap, etc.). While I do enjoy this, sometimes experiencing the rather "classic" sound feels like something that's missing in my life.
Ka-Li represents the ongoing creative collaboration between the London-based producer, Sam Posener and soulful singer/songwriter, Indigo Lily. Their new track "KUDOS" is chasing this "classic" sound I mentioned before - breezy, light instrumental and a spotlight on Indigo's shining vocals. It actually feels like a homage to 90s scene combined with Tom Misch guitar lick vibes.
"KUDOS" is the second single off their upcoming debut EP. Stay tuned for more, as this London duo is definitely someone to be excited about!
