Australian singer/producer JVLY is back with something that's going to melt your defenses.
His new single, "LOCUM", is a blend of futuristic instrumentals and slow-burner aerial vocals, mixed with cinematic strings to further solidify the emotional vibe. The song will be featured on Kayle's upcoming EP SUNDER. According to JVLY, this is the most intense track on the EP. Despite its intensity, it carries a tender and emotional tone, serving as a poignant reflection on the selfish nature of humanity.
He elaborates, "I think LOCUM is probably the most intense song on SUNDER, but it’s so ironic to me. Sonically, it has this tender and emotive tone with soulful chords, strings, and D’Angelo-inspired guitars. But the lyrics are anything but tender. I didn’t want to sugarcoat this part of the story—it’s an honest, and sometimes brutal, reflection of the selfish nature of humans."
