Meet Junii, or Shaina Ferrell - an exceptionally gifted rapper, vocalist, and songwriter. She's one of those people you know are destined for greatness when you first hear her music. Junii's musical adventure began with Better In Black, a hip-hop/soul duo she co-founded together with her brother. Junii's drive and talent were the backbone along with her brother that made them stand out. Their sound was Junii's creation. She was the creative mastermind behind the productions as well as delivering master-class rapping and impressive singing chops to boot. She has enjoyed the rise as an independent artist, which saw Better In Black transition from the Internet to actual live performances and moving beyond releasing music as underground independent artists on Soundcloud. Eventually, her brother Natrol Black decided to step down from the duo in late 2019.

Junii didn't let this deter her. Instead, she used this time to refocus, rebrand, and reinvent herself. She emerged stronger and even more determined to make her mark in the music scene.

Now, fresh off a fantastic collaboration on TDE Rapper REASON's Porches album, Junii is ready to make her move. Her latest release, "Break You Off" is pure sensuality. Written entirely by Junii, this sultry & seductive track channels the vibes of artists like dvsn, The Weeknd, or Victoria Monet. In "Break You Off", she not only demonstrates her exceptional lyrical skills but also firmly establishes herself among the ranks of talented female rappers/vocalists like Tink, Coi Leray, Doechii, and DeJ Loaf.
