Overlooked Ghosts

Now this is a stellar collaboration. Joya Mooi has joined forces with the renowned Gracy Hopkins for the groove-driven gem "Overlooked Ghosts".

Towards the middle of the year, Netherlands-based Joya Mooi released a six-track EP titled Open Hearts. The project focused on identity and self-discovery, paying tribute to historical figures and events. "Overlooked Ghosts" is the one track on the EP with a housey sound the synergy between Joya and Gracy shines ever so brightly over this instrumental. I loved how Joya is able to be soulful yet so catchy throughout her gripping vocal performance, and this is beautifully coupled with dreamy synths to create quite a warm soundscape.
