Sprinkled with blues/rock guitars, pulsating basslines & a drum groove that guides you through, "Parting Ways" also has heartfelt vocals with an appealing haziness & rawness to them - putting Journi on the r&b map of the US (which appeals to the country/blues/pop blend more & more these days).
