The Holland-based Josimar Gomes is a multidisciplinary artist who has his roots in hip hop, but occasionally branches out into r&b, soul, and electronica. In "Screwed Up" he showcases a softer, vulnerable side in a manner that's thought-provoking and quite comforting - and this is accentuated by the presence of Leela's uplifting verse towards the end. Apart from the vocal performances, the source of the track's soulful charm also comes from the groovy instrumental and the warm guitar licks driving the melodic section.
