Austin-based singer, musician & producer Josh Mosier is set out to soothe us and bring some warmth & hope to our lives.
"Better Days", the leading track of his debut Devotion EP, is an amazing fusion of jazz, soul, r&b and a touch of blues that reminds me of Tom Misch & Jordan Rakei in a way. Josh elaborates on the ideas behind the project:
I really tried to capture the feel of a live show on this EP, especially with the track “Better Days”. Working on that helped me stay hopeful even during these uncertain times. Other tracks focus more on acknowledging your mistakes and flaws, each day we do our best but no one is perfect so all we can do is enjoy the ride and move forward.
