One of the artists in the world of jazz who I'm constantly eager to hear more from is the Glasgow-based musician Josef Akin, and that fascination all started with the single "Sun Dance".
Time around Josef is back with a new release "Mchaze" that's bound to have you drifting off into a state of tranquility. The drums are slow and steady while a soulful brass section vehemently makes its presence felt over glittery keys. Judging from the laid-back mood of "Mchaze", it probably won't be a surprise to know that the track is thematically centered around the idea of being high.
