So yeah, this is Jorja Smith - 18 years old, from Walsall & works in Starbucks.
An incredible UK urban talent, and at the rate in which she is gaining notoriety I think it's safe to assume she'll be mixing better things than a latte-macchiato in the not too distant future.
To reinforce my point - my girlfriend heard me playing the track whilst writing this post and nonchalantly asked if Rihanna had a new track out - personally I think it exudes more of a modern Lauren Hill vibe but who cares? I certainly doubt Jorja will be too fussed when being compared to two of the most iconic urban acts of the last twenty years.
