It's been 1.5 years since Jordan Rakei blessed us with new music - Bruises EP was released in March 2022.
Today, he's back with something beautiful, which he calls 'a new chapter', and you'll hear why. "Flowers" is a lot trippier, carried-away, even Radiohead-like, still with his signature warm vocals but with a distinctive drum groove & heartfelt strings.
He explained, “Flowers” is an homage to the journey of my first love, the patience it requires, and the pivotal moment I met my wife. It reflects on our memories and tells the story of the comfort I feel in that relationship.”
With this single, Jordan also announced signing to Decca Records, part of Universal Music Group, as well as a show at Royal Albert Hall on October 1st, 2024.
