When this came out, so many people were talking about it as a Men I Trust track was sampled by the illustrious Statik Selektah for Joey Bada$$. But honestly, I didn't feel it on the first listen.
When I dived into Joey's album 2000 however, I noticed "Show Me" touches you differently like a long-lost lover. How it complements the flow and the themes of the album makes you look at the track in another light. Joey's stellar lyricism certainly can't escape mention since it's paired with a romantic vulnerability we don't usually see from the Brooklyn rapper.
