With each strike of that acoustic bass, I was left saying "ohhhhffff" by virtue of it's depth and rhythm.
All of the instrumentation on here sounds acoustic actually and Joel and his team has done an incredible job with crafting a lofty vibe. I completely adored the fact that the chorus was ridiculously catchy without a hint of cheesiness, which is quite an exhibition of his melodic virtuosity. The idea of the track came about while Joel was sitting at a red light and singing over the rhythm of his turn signal.
"Cadillac" is the second single from Joel's upcoming sophomore album, set to release in the Fall of 2019.
