Glittery arps, dreamy chords, and an idiosyncratic bounce... "Colourblind" by Joe Hertz and Collard is beautifully re-imagined by the signature sound of Indigo Eyes.
"Sofa" was the first time I came across the soulful vocals of Collard, but I never thought I would hear them on a garage-influenced track. The manner in which Indigo Eyes has arranged the bass sounds quite playful, and their presence is emphasized by the minimalist drums too.
The original track was a chilled laid back tune so I've put my own spin on it and brought up the tempo a bit with UK house and garage drums, whilst still using warm synths to keep the smoothness of the original.
