Captivating lyrics, haunting vocals and the perfect acoustic/indie track build-up, Jessie Reid's "Whole Heart" is an absolute must-add to any solid acoustic playlist.
The UK artist weaves impressive fingerstyle guitar playing together with soulful, emotive vocal melodies. Inspired by some of my favorite artists Ben Howard and Lucy Rose, Jessie's music feels like a personal invitation to her world where everything is painfully honest. Her music is like a lullaby that's both light and dark. Even after listening to the track 7 or 8 times I still get the goosebumps once she starts humming along the beautifully composed strings.
After all of this, I think it should come as a no surprise that Jessie was shortlisted for the Glastonbury 2019 Emerging Talent competition. Can't wait to see what's ahead of her.
