It’s hard not to fall in love with Jasmine Cassell’s voice. “Lie” was the first track I heard from the US singer/songwriter, but I was immediately sold. The conversation of lies told by men and women has been a topic circulating for decades now. Just consider it a battle of the sexes on who does it the best and the most frequent. I can only speak from my own experience and from what I've noticed men tend to lie to protect themselves or as an attempt to not "hurt" the women. My new single 'Lie' is honestly just a fun "F that man" song that I know will spark the convo that women aren't so innocent either.
With its slightly nostalgic hip hop & r&b feel, “Lie” is a great song for the end of the summer.
