Australian born Berlin-based soul singer, songwriter and producer James Chatburn releases his third single of the year, "Creator".
His sound is a blend of soul, blues and indie-electronic music, and the contrast in musical styles is something fresh and quite interesting.
The song was written last year, released as a series of four singles, starting with Holiday Love (a collaboration with Jordan Rakei) in February, and then We Drink (featuring Frank Nitt and produced with Dizz1) released back in June. The final track, Cracks and Breaks, will be released in November, and will complete the series.
This new one has Chatburn linking up with Jordan Rakei once again who co-produced the track. Fans of John Mayer, Tom Misch and indeed Jordan Rakei will dig his future-soul sound.
