The guitar pattern on Jairus Mozee's "Time" is the single most beautiful thing I've heard this weekend. I mean, it's just Saturday morning, but damn, that track is just so lovely.
The track is my first sound interaction with both Jairus who is an insanely talented guitar player and producer, and Rone'e Mozee whose vocals add a real flair to the composition. I love the bluesy guitar blended with some dream-pop elements and those silky r&b vocals. Aerial af.
That being said, Jairus has been around some time and has already achieved greatness. Grammy nomination for Best r&b Song as co-writer of "Best of Me| with Anthony Hamilton and also 2 other Grammy's his work with Anderson .Paak on Ventura. I might be a bit late to the party, but I'm definitely digging into his discography.
I found the track via Spotify's new lush guitar playlist Shimmer where our Metic "Finding Home" release landed earlier this year. A beautiful selection!
