Have you heard Feng Suave's Warping Youth? In myriad of ways, Jackson Dyer's "My Season" is quite reminiscent of some of the tracks you'd find in that project by virtue of the soulful nature of his vocal performance.
His vocals are not only emotively captivating, although it feels like velvet rubbing against your ears throughout the track - especially in the chorus. Jackson also prepares an exceptional treat for listeners towards the end as the instrumentation falls silent while his lofty voice hovers over the mix... Only for the instrumental to return with an increased tempo and a change in chords too.
