Both J-Silk and Deheb are names we have the pleasure of featuring before, so seeing them collabing together brought a smile on my face. J-Silk, are a Bordeaux-via-London trio that dwells in the future soul space fusing elements of hip hop, electro pop and funk. Imagine if The Internet, Anderson Paak, Little Dragon, and James Blake had a child sort of thing. You're smiling now too, right?

Bringing producer and DJ Deheb to the mix is definitely a good idea. Pronounced <day-heb>, his name means gold in Arabic. The artist grew up in France and has been active in the scene from the early 2000s. He brings that fluid downtempo scent to the original, an influence of the early beat sounds from that area. I'm picking a solid Thievery Corporations vibes from this version.

Listening to "Dreaming Awake", especially the first time, gave me goosebumps. An instant transportation to a lush mind land.
