The Brighton-born London-based r&b artist is gearing up to release her 10-track album In Two Worlds, set for release in January 2024. "Chasing Dreams" is among the gems that'll end up on the album, and I love how her soulful vocals poignantly echo the sentiments in the lyrics. IYAMAH explores her relationship with grief and her desperation to want to escape it. The presence of the strings heightens the emotional impact of the track, especially in the chorus.
