Just like a secret diary, IYAMAH kept her songs away from the world when she was 13. Her artistic mother encouraged her to pursue music, and IYAMAH picked the piano at an early age. But it wasn't until she moved to London that she developed a passion for soul and r&b music.

In December of 2022, she released the EP Sometimes, I'm Speechless, and "Calculated" closes the 5-piece beautiful short album with its memorable vocal line, dazzling guitar strings, and groovy bassline. IYAMAH grew up with the sounds of reggae and African drumming, and that influence is absorbed by her tracks I can't stop going back to.
