Then it comes to punk/rock/emo sounds nowadays, there's this one label which always makes into the conversation - the guys from Tiny Engines. Peter, Alex and I have been on a strike to feature some of their bands like Somos, Dikembe, Hotelier and now their newly addition - It Looks Sad.
There's something incredibly nostalgic about their track "Radical" and it's not the overall post-punk sounds of the quartet. The first few chords of the track remind me of some late 90's sounds and careless times. It's like the very, very early Oasis met Sunny Day Real Estate plus some Beach Fossils here in there. I have to say - I'm really looking forward to the self-titled EP of these guys!
