The overall progression is something I was quite enthralled by here. Singular Balance's rendition of "Sugar" literally feels an emotional roller-coaster ride by virtue of the arrangements of passages.
What made the track distinctive, in my opinion, wasn't just the mood. The drums were very peculiar in terms of their selection and their placement around the stereo field. It's like they're a combo between live and computer-programmed. Near the end, a transition occurs which further highlights the splendor "Sugar's" progression.
Singular Balance has created a meditative gem that is perfect studying and simply getting lost in a world of atmospheric textures.
