French electronic duo Angara is back with a stellar new release and this time they've transformed Illuminine's "Way Back When" into a dreamy melodic house gem.
Angara is known for their emotive brand of house music, with that being said it's no surprise that their rendition acquaints us with a mixture of hope and melancholy all at once. The serene female vocals floating in the mix are beautifully complimented by these distant guitars and lush pads. It's definitely the stuttery lead that brings the track to life though. It's so well with the bounce of the drums and it actually reminds us of Ben Böhmer's "Breathing".
