Nothing better than layering vocals on top of a great dance / electronica melody. This is what UK-based producer duo Icarus and vocalist Nathan Ball did and the result is absolutely staggering.
Starting in Bristol back in 2013, the pair creates sounds in the realm of progressive house, but also inspired by the cinematic of Hanz Zimmer and prolific electronic artists like Basement Jaxx and The Chemicals Brothers.
What makes "Meet Me There" special, besides the aerial melody, is the perfectly fitting vocals. The lyrics add so much to the already beautifully progressing melody. I would love to listen to this on my next morning run.
