R&B has been gradually straying away from every genre definition which might have been adequate, say five years ago. As with most genres today, R&B progressively evolves, driven forward by its interaction with genres like electronica, trip-hop, indie and alternative.

Ibeyi has already fallen under the Stereofox radar with the duo's balance between soul, raw Cuban vibe and an ethereal indietronic sound. This time the Diaz twins take it one step further, transferring their delicate, contemporary gospel to a new version of rapper Jay Electronica's track from March this year "Better in Tune With The Infinite".
