A few weeks ago Ian Ewing dropped his new EP titled Overnight and things sound superb.

If you've been with us, you know we've been following Ian for many years now and after interviewing him and making Best Of mix series I guess the affection for his music is pretty evident. Yet, the hummus loving fellow drummer keeps surprising me.

I have to say - this release is some next level s$#%. "Aphelion" is the 5th track off the EP and features US multi-instrumentalist Kenny Reichert. The track is relatively long compared to Ian's previous works and that allows the 2 musicians to create a perfectly evolving sound. My favourite moment (besides the liquid-y chords) is when Ian really steps on the drums. I feel like jamming to this track so bad.
