These are two names I did not expect to see next to each other. On the "Fire Of Mercy" remix, yunè pinku has soaked the track with her signature brand of left-field UKG infused with a pop touch.
On the original track, the vocals from indie dance outfit Hot Chip pierce through the mix while the rhythm section seems to be played by a live drummer - it's very reminiscent of Cut Copy actually. With pinku's rendition, however, her vocals take center stage and they're dressed in heavily-textured reverb. This, along with the thick pads floating in the backdrop creates an atmospheric comforter for us to immerse ourselves into. I can't neglect to mention the hard-hitting UKG drums that provide the track with a dance sensibility.
