The one thing that has always attracted me to Madrid quartet Hinds music is their charming DIY rock meets retro 60's pop sound.
On new single "San Diego" they stay true to their sound mixing raw vocals, rugged percussion and scuzzy guitars with irresistible catchy pop melodies.
The band wrote on their SoundCloud page:
We all have bad days. We mean bad nights. One day a friend told us "I don't wanna fall asleep because I know what's the dream about". This song is about staying awake. Just staying awake. It's noisy, bold a bit out-of-sync and a lot of fun!
