After an impressive remix of Steve James' "Renaissance" that certainly threw k?d into the spotlight earlier this year, he's back at it again with more future beats.
"Cliffs Edge" combines factors like peaceful vocals from Hayley Kiyoko and immense synths, undoubtedly demonstrating k?d's forward-thinking production. This remix even reminds me of tracks off Flume's original Flume album, and over the past four years I definitely haven't heard anything comparable to that until now. The naturally powerful emotion this song provokes will make you want to keep it playing over and over again.
At only 18 years old, k?d is well beyond his years. This is the beginning of a promising career as a producer and I anticipate more tracks like this to satisfy my future craving.
