"Frontin' Me" does have a similar aesthetic to much of the contemporary forms of house coming out now, although what genuinely sets this track apart is the fascinating vocal delivery and fx.
The vocals sound extremely vintage by virtue of the kind of manipulation Harry has applied, and this creates an interesting dynamic between his voice and the instrumental. With pristine sound design and glistening synths shining through the mix, the beat screams modern house while the vocals take us back in time. It's this special paradox which makes the track such a great listening experience.
